Ever since I moved on to Steam, I haven't really touched Nintendo much. I've gotten so much free stuff on Steam that it surprises me. It's even given me an excuse to practice my writing skills by reviewing games.
I'm waiting until the library builds up and the price is reduced a bit. Either way it's not like I'm suffering from a shortage of quality games to play in the meantime (in fact there's so many I have on my "to play" list that the Switch may have a good library and more manageable price long before I can get through them all)
Originally, I was going to wait it out and buy the rest of the 3DS games I wanted but I've changed my stance recently and started saving up for one so selling stuff on eBay and putting money aside. I'm aiming for mid to late April just in time for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe providing stock is available (I hope so)
I know there's quite a few people bemoaning the 'glitches' but you know what? There's ways to work around it. Just looking at the first year lineup, there's enough for me to warrant buying it. Another thing I don't understand is people whining about the console.
Anyway, the feedback I've received has been favourable and that's good enough for me.
So to answer the question, yes. Yes I will. If you do too, I expect your friend code. U have to beat yo ass at Mario Kart!
I'm waiting for both a larger library of desirable titles (currently, only Breath of the Wild appeals to me, and I have a Wii U perfectly capable of delivering the experience to me already, so...) and a price drop. I'm hoping for at least a $50 price deduction by the 2017 holiday season.
I thought I would wait until my birthday in May to get the Switch, but after a tough week at school, I just decided to get Breath of the Wild on the Wii U. I honestly couldn't see myself using the portability functions of the Switch, and if I'm being honest with myself, playing Breath of the Wild is something I just couldn't wait for.
That red fish guy is a zora who lives in zoras domain If I'm not mistaken he's a friend of Link's since I saw a friend of mine playing the game this weekend who's gotten much further ahead than I have. Link's lost his memory in that game so he's running around in all places in Hyrule to try and find those memories more or less~
I picked one up day one and already dropped 30 hours into Zelda. Grabbed Fast RMX and played with my buddy in Ireland and brought Bomberman R to my friends house and played for several hours and then dived into the snipperclips demo. I bought an Xbone back in November and I already have more games for the switch than I do for the Xbone. Still looking forward to Has Been Heros this month and Dragon Quest Heros 1&2 in two or three months. Also Lego City undercover is rereleasing this month with all the loading time issues hopefully fixed so the game will be playable this time around.
Yeah I heard there were people having issues with their switch but I'm in a group with 17K people and maybe a handful of people are having an issue.
My friends are waiting until Christmas to get theirs, apparently there are some glitches in the Switch rn so by the time Christmas rolls around they'll be fixed? I'm not quite sure, but it seems like a neat plan. Plus it'll probably be easier to get it at Christmas, we'll have the proper money for it by then ^^
I don't really know, I think they mentioned something about the screen just (for lack of a better word, please forgive me q~q) looks like it's having a seizure out of nowhere? I'm planning to research a little more on it, but aside from that it should be fine. I might even be thinking of the wrong console, but either way ^^
